Be Heard: Buckingham launches the 12th National Student Survey to final year students

Launch of the NSS 2017The Vice-Chancellor, Anthony Seldon, joined students this week to invite them to “be heard” by taking part in the annual National Students’ Survey (NSS).

He said: “Students have always been at the heart of what Buckingham is about and your feedback in the National Student Survey is vital to ensure we provide the best experience possible. We do listen, respond, and act on the results, so please do take the time to complete the survey.”

The NSS gives final year undergraduate students the opportunity to say how satisfied they are with the degree course they are studying.

Students are invited to give feedback on the teaching, how the course is assessed and the feedback received on work. Students can also comment on the quality of the support given by academic tutors and whether they feel part of a learning community where their feedback is valued.

From 2017, the NSS results will be used as a core measure of the new Teaching Excellence Framework – the TEF.

Final-year undergraduates at Buckingham can take part by visiting www.thestudentsurvey.com.

When students have completed the survey, they will be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad Mini 4 and 4 other prizes.
