Knighthoods for University of Buckingham current and former academics

Dr Anthony Seldon – Head of Wellington College and an honorary graduate of Buckingham – and Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Economics at the University of Nottingham and Professor David Greenaway, who was at Buckingham for eight years progressing from lecturer to a personal Chair in Economics, have both received Knighthoods in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

A former Friend of the University, Rosemary Heywood, who has been a supporter of Buckingham for many years, was awarded a British Empire Medal for services to the community in Buckingham.
