In this edited collection Dr Paolini has managed to assemble a number of leading academics in company law to deal with the always relevant topic of  directors’ duties and liabilities.  The book compares and contrasts the common and civil law legal systems, highlights that directors should take into account the interest of those dealing with the company, human rights and consumers’ rights, and the possibility of directors incurring personal liability when insolvency strikes the corporate body.
