What we do
The Wellbeing Hub offers person-centred wellbeing support to students who are experiencing difficulties with university life. For example, a student may have health concerns or be experiencing emotional difficulties. They may need to develop their academic skills or they could be facing disability-related barriers to learning.
We want to make a positive difference to students’ health and wellbeing and endeavour to make their time here successful. The Wellbeing Hub team works closely with students, Faculties and other departments around the university to ensure all students have the best chance to complete their studies successfully.
In order for us to help students maximise their potential while they are at university, we encourage them to tell us about anything that adversely affects their studies. The Wellbeing Hub promotes students’ health and wellbeing as much as possible. We run various awareness campaigns and initiatives designed to encourage students to adopt healthy lifestyle choices in line with NHS guidelines.
